Bits and pieces.

There are a lot of bugs right now where I'm at. Apparently this happens every year in the summer. Lots of bugs.

Tonight I've been bitten too many times by a mosquito. It's pretty annoying, but I'm sure you all know about mosquito bites.

Thing is, I'm pretty sure it's the same mosquito that's been harrassing me for the past hour or so. Either I fidget a lot (which I do) or this mosquito has bitten me at least three times.

How much blood does one mosquito need? And why doesn't it just drink it all in one go?

I don't think Zoobooks ever covered that one.

Over/Under

A common misconception in my opinion is that for something to exist the opposite must exist as well. That is, there would be no good without any evil, and there would be no pain without any pleasure.

So then, the only reason why we don't understand things is because we do understand things.

And the only reason we do things is because we don't do things.

The problem I have with this logic is that nothing can happen *in theory*.

And what is the opposite of instinct? Do animals know of this?
