Vim Quietude

New Pain.

The theory is that pets, particularly cats, do not understand death in the same way that we do. More specifically, they do not understand their own death. They certainly know how to kill other things!

Ahem...anyway faithful cat owners know that cats typically die far, far away from home. The theory is they don't understand the new pain that is hurting them, and seek to run away from it. Pain is caused by something, run away from what's hurting you. Simple.

You may call it a yearning, but getting people to move to a new place, physically and metaphorically, requires new pain.
